  • A copy of valid National Idenity Card/valid passport/valid driving license which contains NIC number
  • A Copy of a recent utility bill to establish your residence address.(If the address given to the bank is different from the National Identity card/passport/driving license)

How to Deposit via Cargills Food City outlets

  1. Fill the Cash Deposit Voucher at the outlet , with either registered mobile number or account number of the beneficiary of your choice, along with the amount.
  2. Once the cashier completes the transaction, you will be given a printed receipt of confirmation.
  3. An SMS alert will also be sent to the account holder’s registered mobile number.

How to Withdraw Cash via Cargills Food City Outlets

  1. Provide your registered mobile number to the cashier, to withdraw money.
  2. Ensure you are logged in to the Cargills Bank Mobile Banking App  an SMS alert with a One-Time Password (OTP), will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  3. After receiving the OTP, click on the “Cash Withdrawal” tab and approve the transaction.
  4. Once the cashier completes the transaction, you will be handed the cash, along with a printed receipt of confirmation.
  5. An SMS alert will also be sent to the account holder’s registered mobile.

How to Purchase via Cargills Food City Outlets 

  1. Inform the cashier that the payment for purchases will be made via Cargills Bank mobile banking app and provide the registered mobile number to the cashier.
  2. In the meantime, ensure you are logged-in to the Cargills Bank Mobile Banking App. An SMS alert with a One-Time Password (OTP), will be sent to your mobile.
  3. After receiving the OTP, click on the “Purchase” tab and approve the transaction.
  4. Once the cashier completes the transaction, you will be given a printed receipt of confirmation.
  5. An SMS alert will also be sent to the account holder’s registered mobile

 How to receive local money transfers via Cargills food city outlets

  1. To send money, Login to the Cargills Bank Mobile Banking App (via Play store  or  App store ). Send cash from wherever you are, by entering the beneficiary’s mobile number, NIC number and the amount you need to send.
  2. You (the account holder) will receive a unique ‘Transaction Reference Number’ (TRN), which should be forwarded to the beneficiary.
  3. The beneficiary can walk in to any Cargills Food City outlet, fill in a send cash voucher which is printed on the right side of the deposit voucher with the TRN, Mobile Number, NIC Number, and amount and hand it over to the cashier.
  4. The beneficiary will receive the cash, along with a printed receipt of confirmation.

  • Cargills Bank holds the authority to change,add or revise product features/offers and terms & conditions pertaining to the Cargills Bank ” Cargills Cash” savings account at any given time.
  • All the other gernal terms & conditions and operating processes pertaining to the normal savings will be applied to “Cargills Cash” savings account
