This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Cargills Bank on the collection, use and disclosure of information and customers’ privacy rights.
We use Customer Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, Customer agrees on collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
While serving the Customer, Cargills Bank Limited may be privy to information relating to the Customer, including information of a confidential nature.
This policy applies to all whose private and confidential information is furnished to Cargills Bank Limited, while obtaining Services provided.
Cargills Bank is strongly committed to protect the privacy of its Customers and has taken steps to protect the information furnished to it.
The Customer shall not disclose to a third party, in any manner whatsoever, any information of a confidential nature relating to the Bank obtained and/or gathered and/or extracted and/or collected in the course of availing the Services.
Failure to comply with this obligation shall permit Cargills Bank to terminate the Services without prejudice to any damages or prior notice to which it may be entitled to by the Customer.
In assurance of security the Customer shall take precautionary measures to safeguard herself/himself from frauds, specifically in dealing with bank account details / credentials including User ID and/or Password, all of which should be of highly confidential nature.
The Customer authorizes Cargills Bank to exchange, share, part with all information related to the transaction history of the Customer to banks / financial institutions / credit bureaus / agencies and/or any stakeholder participating in any telecommunication or electronic clearing network as may be required by law or customary practice and shall not hold Cargills Bank liable for use or disclosure of this information.

When a Customer accesses the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device used, the mobile device unique identity (ID), the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the mobile device, the mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may use and store information about a Customer’s location if permission is given to do so (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide features of our Service, and to improve / customize our Service.
A Customer can enable or disable location services when using our Service at any time by way of their device settings.
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service.
A Customer can instruct their browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. However, if a Customer does not accept Cookies, he/she may not be able to use some functionalities of our Service.

Customer information, including Personal Data, is processed at the bank’s operating offices and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of a Customer’s district, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from a Customer’s jurisdiction.
A Customer’s consent to this Privacy Policy followed by their submission of such information represents their agreement to that transfer.
The bank will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Customer information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Cargills Bank strives to maintain up to date information regarding personal and financial details in accordance with best practices. However, if a Customer feels that the information regarding their account is outdated or requires amendments, a written request may be submitted to the nearest Branch of the Bank.
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. When clicking on a third-party link, a Customer will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise Customers to review the Privacy Policy of every site they visit.
We have no control over the sites referred to above and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party site or service.
The security of Personal Data is important to the Bank, but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While the Bank strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, the Bank cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18 (“Child” or “Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 18. Customers who become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Data (other than information shared by the parents / guardians with the Bank for a minor savings product) should contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Customers are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any change. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when such changes are posted on this page.
