The “Abhimani” Women’s Savings Account is a standard Savings Account with a special interest rate that has been designed specifically to encourage women to invest and grow their funds with Cargills Bank. With the highest interest rate in the market and unique benefits offered by being an account holder, the product has been designed specifically to cater the requirements of women and instill a strong customer- bank relationship.

(in an instance if the customer is a Salary Savings Account Holder, who remit their Salary to Cargills Bank, the product features offered for personal loans under the Salary Saver product will be applied).
  • Rs 1000/= contributed (by the bank) for the “Podihitiyo minor savings account”,when an Abhimani savings account holder opens a Podihitiyo minor savings account with a minimum balance of Rs 1,000/=.

  • Women’s over 18 years of age holding a valid national identity card (NIC)

3.00 % P.A (AER – 3.05%)

  • Duly Completed Savings Account Application
  • Copy of National Identity Card
  • Copy of a recent utility bill
Terms & Conditions
  • Existing & Newly opened accounts are eligible to receive the 3% bonus interest rate
  • Joint accounts are not allowed to opened
  • Should have a minimum of one deposit during the month to receive bonus for that month
  • Maintain a minimum of Rs. 5,000/= average balance
  • This offer is only valid till 30th September 2024
  • Minimum Initial Deposit LKR 1,000
  • Minimum account balance to be maintained – LKR 500
  • Cargills Bank holds the authority to change, add or revise product features/offers and Terms and Conditions pertaining to the Cargills Bank “Abhimani” Women’s Savings Account at any given time
