Cargills Bank Successfully Concludes World Environment Day Special Green Initiative

With the vision of empowering the next generation to become environmentally conscious citizens who will inherit tomorrow’s world, Cargills Bank successfully organized a special World Environment Day program across its island-wide branch network on June 5th.

To support a sustainable future and ensure the long-term well-being of our planet, valuable saplings—including Mango, Mee, Kohomba (Neem), Kumbuk, and Jakfruit—were symbolically distributed among young Cargills Bank “Podihitiyo” account holders.

At Cargills Bank, we deeply appreciate the enthusiasm shown by these children—not only toward saving money, but also toward safeguarding the environment they live in and actively contributing to a greener Earth with their own hands.
