Cargills Bank commemorates 11 Years of Service with a Water Dansala at Arunaloka Poson 2025
Wed, 4 Jun 2025

Cargills Bank commemorated its 11th anniversary with a water dansala and donation of water tanks at the “Arunaloka Poson 2025” commemorations at the Mulgirigala Raja Maha Viharaya in Tangalle. The Bank provided drinking water bottles to devotees on Poson Day and donated 2 water tanks to support pilgrims and visitors during the sacred observances. This initiative reflected the bank’s continuing dedication to community engagement and development.

These community development initiatives are part of the Bank’s 11th anniversary celebrations. Over the past 11 years, the Bank has grown steadily, shaping its identity as one of Sri Lanka’s most progressive financial institutions. To mark this important milestone, Cargills Bank will be launching a suite of special offerings, including limited-time high-return fixed deposit products, exclusive card promotions, attractive loan schemes, anniversary raffle draws, and tailored investment planning tools. Each of these initiatives reflects the Bank’s mission to support Sri Lankans in their financial journeys with products that are relevant and provide genuine value.

Reflecting on the significance of these occasions, Senarath Bandara – Managing Director and CEO of Cargills Bank said, “Poson is a period of deep significance and rooted in the values that guide us. This June also marks 11 years since the bank opened its doors, and as we pause to reflect and celebrate, we also look ahead and reaffirm our commitment to offering our customers purpose-driven solutions that truly enrich their lives. At Cargills Bank, we believe that progress must be more than innovation. It must also be about connection to the community, responsibility, and shared growth. We are honoured to serve all Sri Lankans, as we move forward into our 2nd decade of service with gratitude and resolve.”

Through these initiatives, Cargills Bank seeks to reinforce its identity as a genuine financial partner that seeks to empower the collective aspirations of Sri Lankans. Through all its efforts over the last decade, and the one ahead, Cargills Bank continues to honour its promise to grow together with the communities it serves.
