Organised by CA Sri Lanka, the TAGS Awards is among the most prestigious national platforms for recognising excellence in corporate reporting. The Awards set a high benchmark for businesses, rewarding those that go beyond financial performance to showcase their broader commitments to governance and sustainable growth. In receiving these awards, Cargills Bank has clearly demonstrated its commitment to embracing these values as guiding principles, not just in its reporting practices but also in its day-to-day operations.

These accolades reflect our unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and sustainability in everything we do. At Cargills Bank, we see integrated reporting as more than a regulatory requirement, as it is a powerful tool to communicate our values, strategy, and the impact we create for our stakeholders. Accordingly, these achievements inspire us to continue our journey of excellence as Sri Lanka’s most progressive bank.”

Cargills Bank’s recognition at the TAGS Awards 2024 underscores its ability to present a cohesive narrative of financial and non-financial performance, providing all stakeholders with easy access to important financial and corporate information and analytics. This approach demonstrates how the bank integrates sustainability and governance into its operations, ensuring that it remains accountable, not just to shareholders but to all stakeholders.

The accolades received by Cargills Bank at the TAGS Awards 2024 thus reflect its forward-thinking vision of balancing commercial success with its broader social and environmental responsibilities. The recognition also serves to inspire Cargills Bank to further align its practices with global standards, as it continues to create value for its customers, employees, and the communities it serves by harnessing the spirit of progress in every Sri Lankan.
